Topline Products Limited warrants all its convertible tops, glass and plastic windows to be free from defects in materials and workmanship at time of shipment from our warehouse.

Topline Products Limited offers a non-transferable sixty (60) month warranty on convertible tops and 12 months on associated products. If one of the products manufactured should fail or be unacceptable due to defects in the manufacturing, any and all adjustments will be on a pro-rata basis from time of delivery.

Topline Products Limited reserves the right to determine if a warranty claim is valid. We may insist the item be returned to us for examination. Any abuse, misuse, or damage caused by incorrect installation or improper cleaning is the responsibility of the purchaser. All claims are calculated from date of delivery. Proof of purchase must be presented when the claim is made.

Warranty Items

Convertible Tops: We guarantee our convertible tops against failure of the material, such as cracking or delaminating, excessive shrinkage and severe discolouration. This is guaranteed for 60 months.

Glass Windows: There is no warranty against breakage during and after installation. They are guaranteed against separation of the bond between the fabric and glass. This is guaranteed for 60 months.

Plastic Windows: Plastic windows are guaranteed only against separation of the bond between the fabric and the plastic as well as the zipper. We use plastic zippers in order to control corrosion. There is no warranty against scratching or discolouration of the plastic. Plastic will change colour as it matures. This is guaranteed for 12 months.

Other Products: We guarantee our other products against failure of the material, such as cracking or delaminating, and excessive shrinkage. This is guaranteed for 12 months.

Fitting Costs: If a product is found to be defective during the first 12 months, a new product will be issued at no charge, plus a fitting allowance which is determined by Topline Products Limited. If a product is found to be defective after the 12th month but prior to the 25th month, a new product will be issued, with no fitting allowance. If a product fails after the 25th month but prior to the 60th month, a new product will be issued on a pro-rata basis only.

Exclusions from Warranty

Shrinkage: All materials, whether cloth or vinyl will experience some shrinkage and colour fading due to the ageing process of the material.

UV Exposure: All tops when folded down, must be covered by the tonneau/hood cover in order to protect the underside of the fabric from sunlights’ Ultra Violet rays. Failure to protect the material backing will cause degradation of the backing material.

Plastic Windows: Folding and/or bending of the plastic window when the temperature is below 12º C. can cause fracture or breakage in the plastic. All plastic windows might experience some pitting or discolouration of the surface if they remain in the box for over 12 months.

Threads: All polyester threads will experience some levels of fading and deterioration over time.

Installation: Failure to install the product as originally installed/designed may cause damage to the product.

Hood Frames: Topline Products Limited will not be responsible for damage to the product caused by a worn, mis-aligned or damaged top frame.

Alterations: Any change in the product will void the warranty.

Acts of God: Topline Productst Limited cannot be held responsible for damage caused by acts of God.

Conditions: The warranty applies only to the original purchaser. All claims must be submitted with the original invoices. There are no additional warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, beyond what is in this document.
